Breech Presentation

Breech PresentationFAQ

Breech PresentationBreech presentation is when the baby is presenting a head up position, instead of head down position weeks before deivery.  Your doctor or midwife will notify you of this, if it is a concern.  If this is the case, don’t worry we offer a non-invasive treatment that can be 70% effective

The best time to try to turn a breech baby is between 32-37 weeks of pregnancy.  Breech presentation occurs in 3-4% of all deliveries. The percentage of breech deliveries decreases with advancing gestational age from 25% of births prior to 28 weeks’ gestation to 7% of births at 32 weeks’ gestation to 1-3% of births at term.

What we provide is the instructional guidelines you need to perform Moxibustion (a type of herb that is burned for it’s heat properties).  This is applied over a point on your foot called UB67.  Completed over a weeks time daily to help achieve the proper position of the baby.
